چکیده

Background: In recent years, there has been a surge in interest studying plant-derived materials and their impact on DNA. Herbal products include number of natural substances that may help protect cells against mutagen-induced cell damage.
Aim: The purpose this research was to assess the genotoxic effects Cassia Auriculata Linn flavonoids (CAF) saponin (CAS) rich fractions mouse bone marrow utilizing chromosomal aberration test micronucleus assay.
Methodology: suppressive CAF CAS 7, 12-dimethylbenz (α) anthracene (DMBA) Croton oil induced skin tumor promotion mice with topical administration twice weekly for 18 weeks is also investigated work. Three dosages 100 200 mg/kg body weight were used. Single oral Fraction at three levels did not enhance micronucleate polychromatic erythrocytes experiment.
Result: cells, single treatment fraction revealed no significant alterations mitotic indices or induction. clastogenicity CYP considerably decreased by pretreatment fraction. As result, it can be stated had cells.
Conclusions: portions have shown non-genotoxic non-clastogenic quantities utilized investigation. might possibly promising reducing agent, according research.

Antihyperglycemic Activity of Various Fractions of Cassia auriculata Linn. in Alloxan Diabetic Rats

Present work describes the potent antidiabetic fraction from flowers of Cassia auriculata Linn. Hydromethanolic extract along with its ethyl acetate and n-butanol fractions were evaluated for antidiabetic activity in alloxan-induced diabetes in rats. The n-butanol fraction exhibited significant reduction (p<0.001) in blood glucose levels and was also found effective in restoring the blood lipid...
